Description

The latest developments in nanobiomedicine including cutting-edge topics will be presented as well as detailed practical hands-on courses in the areas of nano drug delivery, nanomaterials, nanoparticle science, nanopolymers, gene therapy nanodelivery routes of administration as well as nanomedical models for human biological barriers. In addition, insights into state-of-the-art exploratory and interventional nanotechnological methods will be provided.
This teaching module will consist of 2 h seminars to be followed by topic specific practical, hands-on examples in the fields of target nanodrug delivery and nanoprecipitation, nanoliposome production, biophysical and physicochemical characterization of nanoformulations and nanodrugs, gene delivery and gene therapy applications in nanobiomedicine, nanomucoadhesions and nanorheology as well as inter and intracellular nanoenhanced based penetration strategies in practice.
The present and future international regulatory environment for nanotechniques and innovative nanobased therapeutic approaches will be discussed based on practical case study examples.
Each teaching course will be composed of 1 h of lecture and 1 h of tutorial.
